One of the oldest MLM (multi-level-marketing) companies that still exists today, Princess House Cookware owes its success in large part to the demand for good quality kitchenware.
If you’re reading this article, you’ve no doubt been exposed to Princess House’s products or business opportunity and are wanting to see if it’s a legitimate company or not.
Keep reading my Princess House Cookware review to learn more about the company, the pros and cons of joining, and some alternatives that might work better for you.
What is Princess House Cookware?
Founded in 1963, Princess House generates a considerable amount of profit each year, ranging from the tens to hundreds of millions of dollars.
The company is privately owned out of Massachusetts and has upwards of 37,000 people who work as distributors.
For over a half-century, they’ve managed to garner a strong niche thanks to their direct sales approach using house parties (similar to the alleged Paparazzi Jewelry scam that I covered in another post) that introduce the cookware directly to potential customers.
People at these gatherings may purchase the products and become part of the Princess House Cookware MLM as a “consultant”, having the opportunity to earn residual commissions from their sales.
Princess House Cookware Compensation Plan
Just like most MLMs, Princess House Cookware relies heavily on you hosting house parties to get people to either buy your products, join the business, or both.
They claim that if you host 4 parties per month you’ll earn, on average, $500.
The number of times you host these house parties each month will ultimately depend on how much money you can potentially make.
Of course, this is assuming that the people you invite to your house parties are actually interested in buying the cookware or joining the business.
You can learn more about their compensation plan by visiting their Start Your Business page.
Pros of Joining Princess House Cookware
While I’m admittedly not a fan of most MLMs, I found a few advantages to joining Princess House Cookware.
Over the years, the company has generated a well-known reputation for selling high-quality cookware.
In addition to their traditional line, they have expanded the number of products they offer which gives distributors the opportunity to emphasize different areas depending on current trends.
Being around for over 50 years and still going strong is as good an endorsement of any MLM company since a lot of them tend to fizzle out quickly.
This means that Princess House Cookware has been around a long time and will likely be around for the foreseeable future.
In other words, the more you sell, the more you will earn from the sales.
Princess House Cookware pays every week and you start with 25% commissions as a consultant.
When you sell more than $1,250 worth of product each month, you earn an additional 5%.
There are other compensations as well that come into effect the better you perform.
Cons of Joining Princess House Cookware
Despite all the advantages, there are some issues that you need to be aware of before joining this company as a distributor.
Arguably the biggest issue is that the cookware they sell is markedly higher than similar cookware from traditional companies.
This means that a savvy shopper can find roughly the same quality for a fraction of the cost.
The added cost is what pays your commissions in the company.
There have been instances of customers purchasing cookware that did not meet their satisfaction.
When this happened, according to some, getting through to customer service was difficult.
While this is not true in all cases, it can definitely be a concern for yourself and your prospects.
The Verdict: Is Princess House Cookware a Program Worth Joining?
Princess House Cookware is not a scam and is a legitimate MLM opportunity with a proven track record.
The flexibility of options, the relatively low startup costs, and the proven nature of their products makes Princess House Cookware a good opportunity for people interested in direct sales and MLM opportunities.
Just be aware that the competition may be strong and you’ll have to work hard to get ahead.

Sell Cookware with Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is hands down one of the best and easiest ways to make money online.
In case you’ve never heard of it, affiliate marketing is a method people use to earn money advertising products from brands they know and love.
The long and short of it is if someone clicks an affiliate link (a URL that contains a unique tracking code that’s tied to you) that you share to a product page and they purchase the product, you get paid!
You don’t have to buy products at a discount from a supplier, keep them stored at your house, and pack & ship them to your customers.
It’s a much simpler, much more scalable approach to selling products online that millions of people utilize – including large companies like TripAdvisor!
How to Get Started with Affiliate Marketing
Are there specific cookware or kitchen products that you absolutely love and would have no problem promoting?
Do a quick search like this in Google: “[brand name] affiliate program” and see if they have an affiliate program you can sign up for!
I did a quick search for “cookware affiliate programs” and found a great affiliate program with Stonewall Kitchen:
Just like all affiliate programs, Stonewall Kitchen’s program is free to sign up for!
The only downside is that some programs may not accept you if you don’t have a large enough audience, so keep looking and you’ll likely find a program that will accept you even if you’re just starting out!
Use the Affiliate Dashboard
Almost all affiliate programs come with an affiliate dashboard where you can find the products you want to promote, their affiliate links, analytics, and more.
Here’s a screenshot of a specific dashboard that I use for one of my websites:
If I want to grab an affiliate link, all I have to do is click “Get code” and copy the link:
Once I share this link on my website or social media and if people buy the product through my link I get paid!
If you have any questions or get lost looking for your affiliate links, an affiliate manager is usually assigned to your account so look for their information and reach out to them.
Start a Drop Shipping Store Selling Cookware
As shown in the above graphic, drop shipping is the process of finding a product through a supplier, listing the product as your own on your website, and having the supplier handle all shipping and handling.
The only thing you’ll need to do is handle customer service and, of course, host the website.
If you have doubts about this method, just know that Wayfair.com, a billion-dollar business, drop ships 95% of the products they sell.
How to Get Started with Dropshipping
To get started drop shipping products, I recommend signing up for Shopify and using the free plugin Oberlo.
Check out this video that’ll walk you through start-to-finish how to set up your own Shopify store, install Oberlo, select the products you want to drop ship, and more:
Import Your Own Cookware
Why not start your own cookware business that rivals the likes of Princess House Cookware?
Thanks to sites like Alibaba or DHgate, importing your own products from overseas has never been easier!
Importing your own products means you’ll be in charge of speaking with suppliers, packaging your products, shipping them to your customers, and the creative side like branding, design, etc.
Just like it sounds, this method takes a lot more effort than the previous alternatives, but it also has the potential for some pretty high profit margins.
Don’t believe me? I hopped on Amazon and found this stainless steel cooking pot being sold for $38.52:
While on Alibaba you can find a pot that’s almost identical selling for $3-4 (depending on how much you buy):
When you do the math, you come up with a profit margin of 89-92%!

Start Your Own Cookware Blog
Starting a blog based around cookware?
Yes, you’d be surprised at the number of blogs there are based around cookware.
Take the website Cookware & More for example.
Using one of my keyword tools, I pulled a list of their top keywords they’re ranking for and here’s what I found:
As you can see, at the time of me pulling this information they are ranked #1 for all of the keywords on the list.
If you add up the monthly search volume of these terms, it’s safe to say they likely get hundreds of thousands of visitors each month through Google!
Imagine if you had that kind of traffic on your blog and included relevant affiliate links or ads within the articles…you’d probably be making some serious dough!
Final Word on My Princess House Cookware Review
If you can’t tell already, I’m not a big fan of MLM companies since I think most of them are rip-offs.
I would know because I was royally screwed by one back in 2014.
So, if it isn’t obvious already, I’m extremely skeptical about online business opportunities.
Which is why I wanted to give my honest opinion in this Princess House Cookware review along with specific alternatives that I’ve vetted myself to ensure they are legitimate.
If you’ve got your heart set on joining Princess Hosue Cookware, then, by all means, go for it and ensure you’re getting all the right help, training, etc. from people who care about your success.
But just like with any MLM, there are a lot of risks involved with joining.
However, as you can see there are also some positive things about the company that doesn’t entirely rule it out.
It’s clearly not a scam, but it’s definitely not the best road for making an income for oneself, in my opinion, when there are so many better options out there.
Either way, I wish you the best and hopefully, this review has helped inspire you to keep taking action and not give up on your dreams.
